NYFW SS'15: Reward Style Party

I was very excited to be invited to the annual Reward Style Party, one of the most talked about parties each year during New York Fashion Week.  Sponsored by InStyle and Topshop, I joined hundreds of the world’s most popular bloggers on the rooftop of The Empire Hotel (where is Chuck Bass when you need him?!) for many a cocktail in the sunshine.

Below:  I chatted with fellow crazy cat lady, DJ Harley Viera-Newton, during her set.   If you haven’t already, you must check out the videos of her cat showering (yes, really!) on Instagram.

Obvvvviously the best part of attending a party like this, and being surrounded by so many fashionistas, is the immense style stalking opportunities (but first, let me take a selfie...)

Roughly translated. "P*** Off!' Love this H&M skirt.

Porter Magazine

Have you got your mitts on PORTER yet?  The high fashion e-tailer Net-a-Porter launched their 284 glossy paged magazine (featuring the glorious Gisele on it’s first cover) this month in 220 cities and 60 countries.  Editor Lucy Yeomans has said the magazine, focused on everything from fashion to beauty, travel to tech, is aimed at “sophisticated women of the world” and the editorial pages feature “all brands, whether they’re stocked on Net-A-Porter or not”.  A Net-a-Porter app can be downloaded which has amazing image recognition capabilities, allowing readers to point their mobiles at the pages and buy the products they desire incredibly easily.  With six issues expected a year, and with each issue costing £5.00, this could potentially be the cheapest kind of luxury in town.

All He Wants for Christmas 2013

The Christmas count down has officially begun and with the chaos and mad panic on every twinkly-lit highstreet, finding a present for the lucky menfolk in your life can prove both tricky and stressful.  Rather than resorting to making an IOU voucher booklet (that ol'chestnut!) here is some TLC giftspiration which may make life a liiiittle easier...

I also asked LA-based Brit musician and all round dude Dhani Harrison and the evvver hilarious Irish actor and comedian Chris O'Dowd to share with us their Christmas wishes.

NYFW - New Kids On The Fashion Block

Watch out Suri Cruise, there are two other mini fashionistas in New York this week.

Below:   Harper Beckham made the most adorable addition to mum Victoria’s front row.  Wearing a little white summer dress with a matching bow in her hair, the oh-so-cute 14 month old Baby Beckham was particularly distracting for the audience invited to watch the Victoria, Victoria Beckham (VVB) SS’13 collection during New York Fashion Week

Below:  Another little trendy tot to hit New York Fashion Week was designer Alexander Wang’s three year old niece, Aila.  Wearing a custom-made Wang dress, accessorized with teeny tiny Nike trainers and a teeny tiny Chanel bag (probably stuffed with sweeties and crayons) Aila was the most fashionable of mascots at her uncle’s show.
